Mary Lenaburg is a writer, speaker, wife and mother. Her first book, Be Brave in the Scared: How I Learned to Trust God During my Most Difficult Days was published this past May. Mary loves sharing her testimony to God’s redeeming love, and her life has taught her that faith is the courage to want what God wants for us, even if we cannot see where the path leads. Mary and her husband Jerry have been happily married for 30 year, finding joy among the ashes having lost their disabled daughter Courtney in 2014. They live in Northern Virginia with their grown son Jonathan. She continues to embrace her father’s advice: “Never quit, never give up, never lose your faith. It’s the one reason you walk this earth. For God chose this time and place just for you, so make the most of it.” You can also find Mary, full of joy and good humor, over on Instagram.

Karianna Frey hails from the great state of Wisconsin, but has lived in the faux “Dairy State” of California for the last 8 years and is delighted to be speaking at the 2019 Fiat Conference. Returning to teaching after an 11-year hiatus, Karianna has a great affection for education and inspiration, both inside the classroom and out. Growing up Baptist, Karianna joined the Roman Catholic Church in 2001, and loves discovering new (and old) things about her Faith and sharing those tidbits when possible. Married to Steve for 14 years, and mama to four, you can usually find Karianna with a good book, writing a letter, listening to a true crime podcast, or on Instagram all in an effort to just avoid the inescapable chore of housework.
Micaela Darr is a wife, mother, and one of the founding members of the Fiat Conference. She homeschools her kids during the day, while writing and managing the social media for Take Up & Read and planning this conference by night. Micaela has developed a deep love of scripture, which satisfies her secret introverted side, while the Fiat Conference gladdens the extrovert in her. She loves escaping to her parents’ ranch for some quiet outdoor adventures, and then taking on too many projects as soon as she is refreshed. You can find much of her past writings at micaeladarr.com, but these days she is most active on Instagram.
Beatriz Delgadillo Wright is a new-ish wife and mother of two babies, a little saint named Francis and an almost one year old rainbow baby named Ramona. She made the most of maternity leave before returning full-time to her day job at a FinTech start-up in Orange County. She studied Political Science and Biblical and Theological Studies at Biola University, one of the nation's most devoutly Evangelical schools, as a devout cradle Catholic. That experience led her to discover the crazy joy of knowing and sharing the Fullness of Truth through friendship and apologetics, which led her to her husband, who is a convert. In her down time, she enjoys listening to podcasts and reading about all things politics, theology, holistic health, pregnancy and birth (hello, doula training) and being a beach bum. Follow along on Instagram because #millenial.
